A Nivel System expert explains the technical differences between the various models of crossline lasers. He will also advise which laser is most suitable for the work to be carried out.
RED LASER
535 nm – wavelength of light
the most economical – cheaper than other beam colors
recommended for working in less sunny rooms
outdoor work – the use of laser sensors is required
GREEN LASER
515 nm – wavelength of light
the most popular because it is more visible in bright rooms (4 times more visible compared to a red laser)
outdoor work – the use of laser sensors is required
BLUE LASER
505 nm – wavelength of light
similar in color to the green beam (this is due to slight differences in the wavelength of light) – which ensures comparable visibility
very well cut off by the edge of the beam – it is slightly thinner than the green one
affects the comfort of work – the beam is clearer and not overexposed
recommended for all works requiring high accuracy
outdoor work – the use of laser sensors is required
