Is it a normal phenomenon?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Working with a construction laser with a visible beam we can see additional laser lines, the so-called reflections. These symptoms can be so strong that in a close distance (e.g., when a laser is placed close to a wall) these reflections are visible and can be received by a laser sensor. The amount and length of laser reflections can be depending on the laser model. There is the rule: more visible beam &#8211; the stronger reflexes. These reflections will disappear away as the distances increase.<\/p>\n<p>This is a natural phenomenon and is not a hardware defect. It does not affect the quality of measurements and the result of work.<\/p>\n<p>On the technical side: each passage of the laser beam through a medium of a different density (prism, laser head glass\/window) causes its refraction and reflection what creates the mentioned reflections. The effect of reflections is minimized by using anti-reflective glass (which are used in the Nivel System CL4D-B, CL4D-G cross lasers).<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Why does the construction lasers show strange reflections?
